Overview

The Marex 440 is the flagship of the Marex range and represents a new generation of Scandinavian family cruising. At 13.70 metres overall with a 4.27 metre beam, she combines strong offshore capability with intelligent onboard living, delivering genuine volume and flexibility in a refined 44 foot platform.

Developed in collaboration with VOM Creations, Nikl Design and Alpha Creations, the Marex 440 shares a common hull, propulsion platform and lower deck configuration across both versions. The only distinction between them lies in the galley arrangement and the way the social spaces are prioritised.

Designed for extended cruising in a variety of climates, the 440 is built around adaptability. Large windows, sliding glass doors and retractable glazing allow the cockpit and salon to operate either as one connected social space or as two distinct environments. The innovative canopy system closes the cockpit in seconds, extending the boating season and allowing heating or air conditioning to maintain comfort in changing conditions.

Power is provided by twin Volvo Penta D6 engines, available in DPI sterndrive, IPS 650 or V Drive Shaft configurations. Depending on propulsion choice, the 440 delivers agile performance, strong mid range cruising efficiency and the option of joystick docking for easy manoeuvring. With 1,190 litres of fuel capacity and 780 litres of water, she is equally suited to weekend entertaining or extended coastal cruising.

INTERIOR & ACCOMMODATION
The lower deck is available in two or three cabin layouts, both offering two bathrooms and excellent ceiling height throughout.

The two cabin version provides a spacious forward master with a 1.70 x 2.00 metre berth and private ensuite with separate shower. The full beam midship cabin features a 1.80 x 2.00 metre bed, its own ensuite, a comfortable sofa along the hull window and the option of a washer dryer, making it ideal for longer stays onboard.

The three cabin layout retains the forward master with private bathroom and adds two midship guest cabins with a shared bathroom, creating a practical arrangement for families or guests.

Throughout both layouts, Marex integrates thoughtful storage, large hull windows and skylights to maintain light, ventilation and comfort below deck.

GALLEY CONFIGURATIONS
The Marex 440 is offered with two distinct galley concepts. Structurally and mechanically the boats are identical; the difference lies purely in how the living space is arranged.

Gourmet Galley Configuration
In the Gourmet layout, the focus is on open air entertaining. A substantial U-shaped galley is positioned on the main deck, creating a central social hub that connects directly to the saloon. The kitchen becomes the heart of the boat, with generous preparation space, induction cooking, oven or microwave options, dishwasher and significant refrigeration capacity. The cockpit seating surrounds a large table capable of accommodating up to twelve guests when extended, and the space can convert into a sunpad or additional lounging area. This configuration suits owners who prioritise alfresco cooking and entertaining.

Scandinavia Galley Configuration
The Scandinavia version relocates the main galley into the enclosed saloon, creating a protected indoor dining area alongside a second outdoor dining space in the cockpit. The salon features a corner sofa with pull out stools and a multifunctional co pilot seat that can integrate into the dining arrangement or convert into a practical onboard workspace. The galley includes high quality appliances such as a Miele oven and induction cooktop, along with substantial refrigeration. This configuration is designed for all season cruising, offering greater weather protection and an interior focused layout.

In both versions, the hydraulic swim platform creates a beach club atmosphere at water level, with optional retractable chocks for tender handling. The bow area features a large sunpad with adjustable backrest and practical access solutions for anchoring and shore access.
