Vessel Layout:

 

Stepping aboard this pristine vessel via the starboard boarding door you have the option to more forward up to the Portuguese bridge or aft to the cockpit.  The cockpit with its high bulwarks for safety whilst underway provides easy access to the lazarette, access to the swim platform with dive ladder, external shower, abundant storage and a plumbed-in gas BBQ at hand whilst enjoying twilight drinks in the comfortable high director chairs. 

 

Entering through the large Dutch door, you step into the spacious main saloon. The asymmetric layout provides the generous walkway on the starboard side of the vessel enabling the expansive saloon living space. To port, there is a lounge to relax with a movable ottoman. To starboard, a larger C-shaped lounge and dining area feature a beautiful high-low teak table with comfortable seating for six adults. The Ultra Soft upholstery throughout adds an extra layer of luxury and comfort. Large picture windows flood the space with natural light during the day whilst intimate lighting sets the mood of an evening.

 

Forward on the same level, the perfectly appointed galley opens to the saloon creates the perfect social cooking environment. The granite countertop galley is equipped with double stainless sinks, full size Sub-Zero fridge, two drawer freezers, ice maker, a trash compactor, microwave, dishwasher, and gas stove, all top-quality Miele appliances. Abundant storage space is provided, typical of Nordhavns.

 

Starboard of the galley, you will find the laundry with a Miele washer and separate Miele dryer well hidden away but easily accessible.

 

Forward of the main saloon, you have access to the pilot house via a generous staircase and handrail. The pilot house is the heartbeat of every voyage and accordingly has been refitted with a suite of new electronics, including two 16 inch Raymarine MFDs, AIS, doppler collision avoidance radar, autopilot, electronic compass, sounders, and night vision. The helm chair is an as new STIDD chair, offering exceptional comfort and a commanding view. Behind the helm is a generous seating area with Ultra Soft leather and another large teak table. Here you will also find the single watch berth. To port features an extendable chart table, while the starboard side offers ample shelving for ship documents and a well-appointed wet storage area equipped with safety equipment. The pilot house provide access to both the port and starboard exterior of the vessel.

 

The staircase forward from the pilot house leads to an additional sub zero freezer for extended voyages and then onto the luxury accommodation deck, where you are greeted by two enormous well-appointed cabins with over two meters of headroom. The VIP cabin forward features a large double bed, an optional pull-out canvas bunk to port, a large private office with workspace, and a pull-out chair. Forward of the VIP cabin, up one step, is the granite countertop ensuite with a large vanity, toilet, and separate shower stall.

 

The master full beam stateroom boasts a queen-size island bed with ample space to walk around and abundant hanging space with plenty of drawers throughout. Opening port holes and the overhead hatch provide cross ventilation and fresh breeze on those balmy nights. The private granite countertop ensuite is large and includes a vanity, toilet, and separate shower stall. On the master cabin’s aft bulkhead, off to starboard, is easy access to the full height engine room door.

 

The engine room is impeccably maintained and clean, featuring the Main Lugger engine at the centre with easy access for maintenance. The Lugger Wing Engine with a separate shaft and folding prop is located port aft, while the 12 kW Northern Lights generator sits to starboard. In addition to the regular maintenance schedule, the dry exhaust insulation has been replaced, along with the inline muffler box imported from the USA and installed in the Gold Coast. Easy access to the Trac fin stabilisers, which have recently been fully serviced ensures for simple monitoring and a smooth ride.

 

On the aft bulkhead, you find another watertight door with access to the lazarette and steering gear. This area houses a dive compressor, water maker, central vacuum system, new Victron inverter/charger, batteries and spare parts.

 

Up on deck and forward, the Portuguese bridge provides access to the foredeck giving crew a solid and safe working area whilst launching and retrieving the ground tackle and access to both salt and fresh water washdown options. The foredeck also gives another ideal seating area while underway or at anchor. From the Portuguese bridge to port, you are welcomed to the boat deck, where the full expedition tender is kept. The large davit on the centerline facilitates easy launch and retrieval of tenders and toys from both sides and over the swim platform.  This area also provides an outstanding place for relaxing and socialising whilst at rest.

 

The flybridge is a few steps up from the boat deck and features a custom-built new bimini top, seamlessly fitted complimenting the vessel’s lines. The helm includes all new electronics including new MFD, instruments, spot light and two large solar panels on the bimini.
