The first Nordhavn 46 MK II arrived in Florida. Hull number one left Port Everglades for Nordhavn’s commissioning base in North Palm Beach.
The arrival gives buyers their first detailed look at the completed yacht. Nordhavn’s report of 12 October 2026 includes new photographs and news from the initial sea trials.
A new chapter for the 46
The 46 MK II builds on the original Nordhavn 46 with a new design. Two cabins and twin Nanni diesel engines support extended cruising.
Large windows bring light into the living spaces. The layout combines a practical pilothouse with places to sit, eat and relax outdoors.

Details for life aboard
Nordhavn identifies several features from its larger yachts. These include a sliding wind screen, generous guest berths and remote fuel valves.
A large window connects the galley with the aft deck. Built-in seating and a table make this outdoor space useful at anchor.
Standard equipment includes a full-size washer/dryer, air conditioning and diesel heating. These systems help owners prepare for longer stays aboard in warm and cool climates.
The electrical system uses lithium-ion batteries. Nordhavn also makes room for service access around the engines.
The first commissioning trials included calibration of the Humphree electric stabilisers. Further commissioning work takes place in Florida.
