17th July 2026

Marine Rescue Middle Harbour will host a fundraising cocktail evening at its waterfront base beside the Spit Bridge on Saturday 26 September 2026, and Flagship International encourages our clients and the wider Sydney boating community to be there.

Why this fundraiser matters

Every boater on Sydney Harbour benefits from the work of Marine Rescue Middle Harbour, whether they have needed a tow home on a Sunday afternoon or simply logged on for a safer run outside the Heads. The unit is run entirely by volunteers and remains one of the busiest Marine Rescue units in New South Wales.

This past year, Middle Harbour volunteers responded to 249 requests for assistance, bringing 573 adults and 103 children safely back to shore. The unit had rescue vessels on the water on more than 150 days of the year.

Funds raised on the night go directly towards the unit's operating costs and the training of its volunteers.

An evening on the water at The Spit

The fundraiser will be held at the unit's over-water base at 239 Spit Road, Mosman, from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. The evening includes live music, a nautical guest speaker, gourmet food and wine, and a selection of auction items and experiences. Dress code is cocktail attire.

Tickets

Tickets are $195 per person, with an early bird price of $175 available until 30 July. Group bookings of ten or more receive 10 per cent off using the code GROUP10.

Purchase tickets on Eventbrite. For a copy of the invitation or group booking enquiries, contact Marine Rescue Middle Harbour on (02) 8071 4859 or email duca.middleharbour@marinerescuensw.com.au.

Share the invitation

The unit has asked supporters to share the invitation with their personal, business and marine networks. If you know someone who spends time on the harbour, pass this along. It is a good night in support of the people who come out when things go wrong on the water.
