From a young age, Marley had a passion for people. Being fortunate enough to travel extensively from a very young age, Marley learned the ability to relate to people from all walks of life and these interactions and relationships are something that drives Marley’s daily life.
As a child, Marley always had an entrepreneurial spirit. From stalls at the end of the driveway to a lawn mowing business at 12, Marley always wanted to engage with the public and get involved in putting deals together. This flowed through to his studies where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management before entering the world of boating. After running a successful marine detailing business through university, Marley sought adventure and went on to join the superyacht world. In a few short years, Marley was delivering yachts up to 100ft all over Asia before completing a delivery across the Pacific from Mexico to Sydney.
Once back in Sydney Marley went on to become General Manager of a Marina and Hardstand facility on Sydney’s Port Hacking. Seeing an opportunity to utilise his sales skills, Marley started a yacht brokerage division within the marina business which saw. Seeing incredible success a second sales office was opened at St George Motor Boat Club on Sydney’s Georges River. After 10 successful years, Marley sought to be the master of his own destiny and secured a sales office at Rose Bay Marina and Flagship International Yacht Brokers was born.
With Marley’s vast network and industry knowledge, combined with a marketing and management education, Flagship quickly grew to be one of the most active and successful brokerage houses in Australia with Marley at the helm.
Still an active broker in the business Marley thrives on continuing to build new relationships and maintaining long-lasting friendship with previous clients. His down-to-earth and honest approach to sales combined with strong industry knowledge and marine experience allows Marley to command respect from buyers and seller alike which gives him a competitive sales edge. Marley has been integral in some of the largest sales in Australia in recent years and despite his likeable and jovial nature, is a sharp and skilled negotiator that thrives on going above and beyond to secure the best results for his clients, and his team.
