As a Catamaran lover, I am delighted to present this immaculate 2020 model Aquila 44 Hull number 110. The popularity and reputation of these vessels have cemented them as one of the most anticipated and sort after catamarans on the market to date.

Layout:

This Aquila 44 is a three-cabin layout which means there is a full beam master for the forward cabin, which boasts a queen bed, its own ensuite and loads of storage. This is rare to see on many catamarans. It is becoming more popular with designers as building technology improves. This is a feature that is very uncommon on catamarans under Fifty feet.

The two guest cabins are located around midships in both Port and Starboard hulls. They are mirror images of each other. Large queen beds and their own ensuites ensure comfort and privacy for everyone onboard.

There is also a "skippers" cabin located up the bow with its own bunk toilet and sink.

The saloon has everything you would expect from a large luxury Aquila with a focus on entertainment. A large lounge framing an extendable dining table. Opposite is a raising LED monitor with room below and besides for storage. The galley is well equipped and with supplementary refrigeration below decks, you have everything needed to live aboard. A stand-out feature has to be the full-sized opening window with a fold-down bar. It makes the best use of bench space and doubles up as a servery to the rear lounge.
The rear lounge features touches designed by an experienced user, with lit cup holders everywhere, their light complementing LED deck lighting.
She's wide! featuring plenty of grab rails, side access to the bow is safe and secure. It is here where you'll find one of the best design features. The bow-to-bridge stairway. The non-slip tread is molded into the master cabin roof and leads up to the flybridge by way of one molded and two floating steps. It opens up access to the bow which makes it a dream for the captain when anchoring and Maneuvering.

The flybridge again puts entertaining first. An excellent set of hard clears fold up and away to allow the summer breeze to roll through.
The helm is central, thanks in part to the need for access to the bow steps, and shares seating with yet another large lounge. That brings the total seat space easily over 10 including the dining area aft of the helm.



What we say:
As many now know from my previous listings. I am a huge catamaran fan. I have spent many days at sea and nights at anchor enjoying what different manufacturers have to offer.
I love a power cat. The Aquila 44 ticks all my boxes and more. She provides speed when needed and she has a very long range at the lower RPMs. So the east coast of Australia is a dream to be able to get up and down with ease and for a reasonable fuel bill. A shallow draft which is always a plus for cats, allows you to tuck that much further into the bays and beaches to get the best spots for the day or the most protected for the night.
A perfect family boat, weekender or extended trips with friends.
She is currently lying in Langkawi Malaysia and ready for her new home. A perfect opportunity for a destination buy. Get into a cruiser in some of the best cruising grounds the world has to offer. Or we can organise for her to be transported to her new home, where ever that may be.
